December 1, 2022The OBA members came forward to organize the vespers service as usual along with the Parish Priest of St Xavier’s Church.
The Outside Alter was decorated with a new curtain and flowers. Introduction to the service, all readings, and the final prayer were done by the Old Boys. The Choir was handled by Upeka Peiris and a number of Old Boys joined the choir.
At the end of the service the OBA Treasurer handed over the 2nd Donation of Rs. 200,000/- Two hundred thousand to the Parish Priest. This gesture of the OBA was welcomed by the Parishioners with a round of applause.
