We thank whole-heartedly each and every one of you gathered to take part in the Shramadana Campaign that was a collaborative effort by the St. Xavier’s Old Boys’ Association (OBA), the Sri Lanka Army, and the SDS.
The Lower School building, a testament to the vision of Rev. Fr. Alexander Siriwardene, has been a cornerstone of education since its construction in 1920, providing shelter to countless students, transcending all boundaries and differences.
It is evident that this iconic building now requires our immediate attention for restoration. The Principal, on behalf of the Department of Education, and current students, and the teaching staff, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Old Boys for spearheading this vital initiative.
The total expenditure towards this endeavour was Rs.50,000/= . The OBA has consistently demonstrated its commitment to the betterment of our beloved College and the welfare of its students. It is our collective duty to rally together, hand in hand, and transform these noble aspirations into reality.
